Parthenon secures over 60 hours of programming for Russia and CEE

Parthenon Entertainment has made the most of this year’s MIPCOM Russia-themed event with over 60 hours of programming acquired by broadcasters in Russia and Central Eastern Europe.


This includes the company’s first sale to Russia’s 24Techno TV, which deals with technology and digital lifestyle. The channel acquired Marine Machines (13 x60’), a fast-paced series about the extraordinary tools used to discover, explore and work in our oceans, under extreme conditions.


Parthenon has also secured a 13 hour package deal with Russian Report for The Meadow (1x 60’ HD) and National Geographic Channels’ Science Exposed (12 x 60’ HD), a 12 hour package deal to Russia 2 for Mystery Files II (13 x30’ HD), Ancient Discoveries (6 x 60’) and Super Human Series 1 (2 x 60’)
Russia K (formerly Kultura), acquired Last Stand of the Templars (1x60’ HD) and Giant Monsters (2 x 60’), whilst Moscow-based broadcaster, Red Media Group has acquired Animals that Made History (6 x 30’ HD) for its channel, 365 days TV
 

Finally, Inter TV Ukraine has acquired a 15.5 hour programme package for its Inter TV, Mega Channel and K1 channels, for titles including Mystery Files II (13 x 30’ HD), Caught in the Act III (1 x 60’ HD), and Ancient Megastructures II (6 x 60’ HD).
